There is no secret when it comes to my love of colors. I have shared with you lovely people several times that I want to be Rainbow Brite in my next life....lol... This month is extra special to me as I show my love of colors as well as being an ongoing ally for my friends and family of the LGBTQIA+ community. As an ally, there are a few things we can do to show solidarity for the LGBTQIA+ community. 

1. Show Love and Support    

    a. When there are conversions surrounding the LGBTQIA+ Community, be an advocate. 

    b. Educate those so are not aware. 

    c. Have educational conversations to inform others on how to be an ally. (Promote Love for                        Everyone)

2. No Judgement

     a. Do not judge others for their lifestyle. 

     b. Be open to understanding their lifestyle and choices and if you still do not understand live and let           live.

3. Support Equal Rights

     a. There may be laws that support gender or civil equality, but it helps to have your own individual             belief followed but actions to demonstrate that we are all created equally and deserve the best                 quality of life. 

4. Show Up!

      a. In any capacity, show up and be present. 

      b. Stand with your loved ones. 

This year, Lane Bryant has expanded their Pride Collection to be even more inclusive. In all honesty, I had a difficult time choosing a look to represent my style as there are so many pieces to choose from. It was a rainbow dreamland. 

One of my favorite pieces is the Ruched Side Maxi Dress. This maxi is perfect for the Spring/Summer heat. You can adjust the sides by ruching the drawstrings. You can wear this maxi as a full maxi or create a heat-friendly look.....lol... Not to mention the super soft stretch material will make you want to stay in this dress all day. And I've done it. Don't judge me...lol

I paired the Ruched Side Maxi Dress with the Crop Denim Jacket Medium Wash Paint Splatter. I love the fit of the crop. The crop jacket hit directly under the breast which is the perfect length for me. This jacket hides all of my jiggly parts and I'm all for it. I would suggest sizing up if you have larger arms.

Of course, no look is complete without accessories. I completed this fun casual look with Rainbow Aviator Sunglasses and the Pride Rainbow Hoop Earrings.
