As we all know that skinny jeans come in a variety of washes and legs. Yes, I said legs. Let's be totally honest, we are all shaped differently right? So naturally, it is only right for brands to create different legs while creating the perfect skinny jean. As the “Fruit Salad” shape that I am, it is difficult for me the find the perfect skinny jean due to having a defined calf and slim ankle. In the past, it has been difficult for me to find the perfect skinny because of these skinny ankles of mine.
Well about a year ago, Dia and Co. introduced me to a new brand, Celebrity Pink. I was so impressed with the style and the fit of the skinny jean that I started researching the brand. As fate would have it, Macy's carried the brand and it was on sale. Can we say…. winning? So, imagine my excitement when I received my first pair. I tried one pair of the Dawson Jean and I was sold. The fit was so amazing. I am totally ashamed to admit that I ordered a pair in every color I could. Don't judge me…..lol… Heck, a great pair of skinny jeans are hard to come by.
Are you thinking to yourself that I never wear jeans? Believe it or not, jeans are a part of my daily life as an educator. So, after a long week of educating our future, I was thinking of a look that would be easy to transform from work to play. So, what other way to look classy? I paired my Dawson skinny jeans with a classic white button-down shirt with a modern twist. When I saw the asymmetric off-the-shoulder button up top, it was a must have. Of course, I had to throw some color into the look. I paired the look with a classic coral pump by Dune London (old) and my favorite earrings Molly earrings from BaubleBar. Since I am an addict of anything shiny, I finished off the look with the mermaid sequin clutch by Courtney Noelle. (clutch is returning for the holidays)
