Fall Casual featuring Dia & Co

Do you ever find yourself falling into a comfort zone? It doesn’t matter if it is with what we like to eat, places we like to visit, or a certain style we like to wear. We are just naturally creatures of comfort in our everyday life.

When it comes to style, I am comfortable with the same silhouettes that are figure-flattering for my body type or have a fun and funky print that I can not live without. So when I entered into the Dia & Co sweepstake from the Instagram Wives’ Facebook Live, I was ecstatic. The boxes that were curated for them were so beautiful and individualized for each one of their styles. I was thrilled to find out that the same stylist would curate a box just for me.

After completing the Dia & Co style questionnaire and linking the page to my social media outlets, I was all set to get my first box. The next step was to receive a personal stylist, Maxie. I totally love how Maxie, the Dia & Co Stylist, reviewed my social media pages to get a sense of my style.

Honestly, I was not a fan of some of the items in the box. I was wondering where Maxie was going with some of the pieces. Ladies, I was so WRONG! I (and you) should trust the process.
If you ever talk to me about fashion, my number one saying is “DO NOT KNOCK SOMETHING UNTIL YOU TRY IT.” I am not a fan of the hi-low trend at all. At all.  I know a lot of ladies love this trend, but, I personally, can not get with it. So when I saw this tunic from Junarose, I was neither thrilled about the hi-low construction nor the print. Then the magic happened; I paired the tunic with a pair of skinny jeans and it was true love.

Ladies, I preach this to others so naturally I wanted to share my experience with you. You never know what you like or what works for you until you try it.

Keeping the look simple but fun, I paired the tunic with Celebrity Pink Dawson Super Skinny Jeans, a fringed hobo bag, and metallic flats.

Until next time Ladies, I hope you like this sample.

  1. Ooh I love this look! I'm not a fan of hi-low either because I'm short and feel like it looks funny on me. But maybe I need to try some of those pieces that I've been bypassing!

    1. Kristi, please do. I will encourage everyone to try something different here and there. You will never know what you like if you do not try. I am short too in my opinion.....lol

  2. This is my go-to look and it looks great on you. And being large busted, I prefer v-neck, but find adding a chunky statement necklace can give that illusion. Nice look!

    1. Thank you so much. I am not a fan of V-neck but I will have to try it out. I am also large busted. Thanks for the suggestion.
