Festive Holiday Fun!

It's that time of the year, ladies! It's the holiday season and the holiday season screams festive attire. It's time to let the sequins, glitter, and beads make their debut. In my opinion, sequined garments are not a trend, yet they are a classic staple for the holiday season.

Sequined outfits can be found at several retailers, (no matter your size). In plus-size retailers such as ELOQUII, Ashley Stewart, Lane Bryant, Torrid, and City Chic, to name a few. Sequin can be found everywhere: in tops, jogger pants, dresses, and even pencil skirts. If you are attending an event this holiday season, drape yourself in sequins to add a touch of sophistication.

This past weekend, I attended a semi-formal event with my family. The Art Deco Sequin Sheath Dress in black from Lane Bryant was the perfect fit. I can-not state how beautiful this dress is in person.(It's just FABULOUS!) The ponte material has that right amount of stretch that gives a curve hugging fit. The keyhole opening was the ultimate compliment to the Art Deco look. This semi-arch keyhole gave the dress a touch of sexiness.

I paired the Art Deco Dress with a black rectangular rhinestone clutch and pewter open heels to come the look. If you are looking for a night time glam look, please check out these sandals from ASOS to complete your look.

Ladies, please be encouraged to step outside of your comfort zone and into the sexy side by showing those wonderful curves. As a plus size woman with a stomach, you can still be fashionable and sexy. I encourage you to try a bodycon or sheath silhouette to embrace your curves. If you would like a great quality shaper, check out Diva Curves ®.

Until the next time ladies, keep it sexy and sophisticated.
