One of the Fall trends this year will be black-on-black (All Black errythang, y'all. Lol). If you know anything about me, you know that I love color. Color just brightens my day, but every now and then you have to find a sexy side (The Black Side). Black is a color that exudes sexiness! Not to mention that it is slimming.

KNOWING your body type is the major element when finding something sexy to wear. Confession: I am an apple with some curve at the bottom (think semi-hourglass). That's right, this Apple knows her shape and definitely knows how to drape it. For my fellow apples, fit and flare garments are always flattering to our bodies. Finding the right fit leads to flattering pieces to wear which surpasses a fad or trend. Besides, the right fit gives a hint of sophistication and who doesn't want to be sophisticated?

Speaking of sophistication and sexiness, I saw this dress on Asos website and knew I had to order this dress for a sexy date night.

Here's the look: A keyhole front with the modified cold shoulder and straps. It's a definite attention-getter. Give em the cold shoulder, ladies! The flow of the skater dress gives the illusion of a slimmer waistline. Since this dress was short, I paired it with the Jessica Simpson "Erikka2" gladiator sandals.

The height of this gladiator sandal was perfect to emphasize the shape of my legs. The cutouts on the sandal play off of the dress. Keeping our goal of all-black everything, I styled the outfit with black and gold accessories. The earrings are a gold circle attached to a matted black triangle. The purse is a Madden Girl fringe clutch. Lastly, to give the look a little edge, I paired it with a black snap bracelet with big gold spikes. Killin' em!!! I don't know about you, but black always make me feel a little edgy.....lol..

Now, I know what you're thinking... That dress is short! That's ok. Own it. I love everything about this dress. If you are bold like me and would like the dress to appear short as mine (or shorter ), raise the bottom arm band up higher to shorten its length.
This dress can also be dressed down with a regular pair of flat gladiator sandals or flats of your choice.
