Stripes in the Work Place - Part 3

Do you have problems maximizing your closet for workfits? Do you find yourself purchasing complete outfits and wearing the same pieces together? Have you mixed and matched items from your own closet lately? Well, today’s work look is about taking something old and mixing in something new.

For something new, Lane Bryant has totally been feeding my stripe addiction. The Lena Striped Belted Trousers was the perfect addition. The blue and white double bar stripes caught my eye. Immediately, I knew what to pair with the the trousers. Tie-neck blouses are starting to be my go-to tops for work. I paired the Lena Striped Belted Trousers with a yellow tie-neck blouse to compliment the double stripes. Adding a pop of color completed this workfit. Accessorizing with wine, burgandy, or bourdeaux gives the look the best balance of color.

Rocking the Lena Striped Belted Trousers will be perfect for your workfit. In addition to this, here are some things to consider when styling your look.

  • If your blouse is busy or have a heavy design, tie and tuck the belt to avoid a distraction.
  • If you are afraid of a wider leg trouser, wear a pump or heeled bootie to elongate the leg.
  • Do not be afraid to try different accent colors to make the look your own.
  • If you like to mix prints together, try the Lena Striped Trousers with a white button blouse with the Dotted & Striped Sweater.

Ladies, how will you incorporate the Lena Striped Belted Trousers into your work looks?
