Celebrating PRIDE with Catherines

*****Thanks to my friends at Catherines for sponsoring this post.*****

Life during this pandemic has taught me many life lessons. The most valuable one of the lessons that I continuously learn is how to be supportive during this time. Support is imperative in life as we all need the lean on someone during exciting and/or difficult times. I remember when my cousin was struggling with his inner self to determine if he should be true to his genuine self. Now as an adult, my cousin is living his life as part of the LGBTQ community.

June is deemed as PRIDE month to honor and represent the individuals in the LGBTQ community. Over the last 3  years, more brands have curated collections in support of the LGBTQ community which are providing options to display their individual styles. This year, Catherines has launched their very first Pride Collection. I love when brands offer styles where you can showcase your individualism as well as styles for supporters. Living in an all-inclusive world full of love is all that we can ask for,

Showcased in this look is one of my favorite pieces from Catherines Pride Collection, the Rainbow Sky Gauze Kimono (RSGK). With a lightweight, flowy fabric this kimono is ideal for any occasion. From taking walks around the park going out for ice cream or an acai bowl, or even just lounging around the house, the RSGK is a perfect piece. In addition to its lightweight material, the RSGK is very versatile in style. You can wear the RSGK open as an open shall, tie the sides to create more of a cropped look, or even wear it as a swimsuit cover.

In addition to the RSGK, each look is paired with the Suprema Tank in Aqua along with the Knit Jeans with Pockets.

Look 1 - Shows the RSGK as an open shall. This look is ideal as I vacation in Atlanta for a quiet quarantine getaway.

Look 2- Shows the RSGK as a front tied crop. Simply by taking the front 2 flaps and creating a know gives the RSGK a front crop look.

Look 3 - Shows the RSGK as a draped crop top In this look, I took the back 2 flaps and tied them in the front to create a front draped crop look with a tie.

Bonus look - Swim - If you would like to use the RSGK as a swim cover, pair it with the Sunset Swim dress for a relaxing day in the sun.

In addition to these looks that were created using the RSGK, I paired all of the looks with the Rainbow Heart Hoop earrings to accessorize all the looks. How cute and colorful are these hoops?

Ladies, as we enter in Pride month, how will you show your love and support for all? For more details, visit Catherines.com . Until we chat again, stay blessed and beautifully dressed.
