Workwear has been deemed non-exist for most plus-size women. As of late, more brands are jumping on the bandwagon to create workwear for the plus-size woman. Since its' back to work time, creating looks that are feasible and reasonable to move around the classroom is a struggle. I can not tell you how my mornings are, I literally stand in front of the closet thinking of something work appropriate to wear. I think of the activities that are planned for the kiddos when I am looking to get dressed. This task has become old very fast. Ladies, am I the only who feels like this?

So to kick off Back to School, I will share with you all some of my favorite pieces over the next 3 weeks. Here are this week's picks.



For my look, I choose the LOFT Plus Golden Floral Flare Dress with the LOFT Plus 3/4 Sleeve Signature V-Neck Cardigan. This is the perfect look for a day's work. Keeping the look simple, I paired the pieces with the I.N.C. Roriee Sandal in a black faux suede.

I have received a-lot of questions in relation to fit. So let's talk about it. As a fruit salad shape my size varies from a size 24 and 26 depending on the cut. In most of LOFT dresses, I am a true 24 as most brands. I only have to size up in separates. I know, I know, I don't understand it neither. To accommodate my chest or my waist, I size up to a 26. I have also noticed when I size up in the bottoms, there is some stretch to the fabric which leaves it shapeless by the end of the day. Nothing that a dryer or tailor can not fix.
