SCHOOL DAYS!!!! It's that time of the year that every parent is thankful for. Their live is tested as their child or children have eaten them out of house and the home over the Summer. Now, it's time to give thanks to the school Gods. Bless Us all.....lol.
Seriously, I am not sure about you, but I am so excited about the 2018-2019 school year. To kick off this school year, I had the privilege of hosting the "Back to School" event at
ELOQUII in The Houston Galleria mall this past Saturday. The event was co-hosted by Chimee Ahaiwe from the blog "
Aroundthewaygyrl". As we all had a blast (even the staff), I wanted to share with you some of the highlights of the event.
Before entering the store, you are greeted with a beautiful window display. The decor of the window display immediately invites you in. As you enter the store, you can see the spans of the store and it's offerings.
Once inside, you were immediately taken away by the DJ. Yes'm go DJ....No he wasn't my DJ....lol....The DJ played hit after hit to set the mood of the shopping experience. I even hopped out on the floor with a follower to find out if KeKe loved us.....Maybe some of you will catch that later.
With the mood set to shop, sip, and have fun that's what we did. As you walked deeper into the store, you were greeted with treats from Fig & Olive located in The Galleria and some bubbly. Prosecco, that is.
Now that everyone was in their zone, the shopping experience was a pleasure. For me, I walked around checking on customers to see if they needed assistance with pieces or styling. The objective was to have every woman leave ELOQUII feeling successful in their visit. One customer was looking at the Ruffle Sleeved Romper and walked away. I could tell her vibe was off. She stated that she needed a certain size to try-on. After suggesting her to order online, she stated that her preference is try on clothing. Immediately, I went to both mannequins to check the sizing. Luckily for her, the front mannequin had her size. The amazing staff jumped in to redress the mannequin so the customer could try on the romper. This is what it's about. The ultimate shopping experience.
To every customer, follower, and/or supporter, I thank you for your love and fellowship in store. It was a blast to chat with each one of you. With you ELOQUII would not exist and neither would I. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
