Set The Stage with Stage Inc.

If you missed “Setting The Stage” with Stage Inc., then you totally missed a great time. Five bloggers and myself had a fantastic time showcasing the latest fall trends.

The ultimate goal of this event was to create a fall look for my plus-sized Samplers. It was a two-day event for me. What made it so much fun was my friend-in-fashion, Noreen.

Day 1: We both started off browsing the selection to get a feel for a fall inspired look. Since Houston rarely honors the seasonal weather, I wanted to try a different look. An edgy look. Instantly, I was drawn to the Sporty sweater dress. Of course, versatility is always a factor when selecting Fall pieces.

So, the hunt began and we chose a sweater dress with the ultimate go-to color-block look. It had a sleeveless eyelet navy vest as the focal point, the vest came in a 3-piece set. I loved the gray tank with the attached tassel necklace that came with and complemented the look. For an additional pop of color, the burgundy skinny pants did the trick. As a gentle addition, the textured cutout bootie completed the look.

The dress still needed something…. As we browsed the accessories looking for pieces, the fashion angels where upon us. Noreen and I turned, there was the perfect moto vest in the men's department. THE MEN’S DEPARTMENT. Can u believe it? This shows us that style inspiration comes in unexpected places. Keeping the theme edgy, we paired the sweater dress with an open toe lace-up bootie. To finish off the look, I chose a blanket wrap to use as a scarf to add some texture and color to the look. Of course if you know me, I had to have something that sparkles. The look was completed by a rose gold metallic backpack from Rampage. Click HERE for all of the blogger's picks.

In addition to creating such a fun and edgy look, the goal was to create a Fall look for our mannequin.

Day 2: This was the actual day of the event. When I arrived I was greeted by the in-store makeup artist. How cool was this treat?

Once our makeup was completed, it was time to hit the runway. With all guest seated and lined up, the fun began. The Ladies and I set the stage.

As the excitement of the night was still at an ultimate high, the ladies and I had a blast at the photo booth. Not to mention all of the fun and cool props available to slay the photos.

I am still honored to be chosen to participate in this first time campaign with Stage Inc. I am also indebted to Stage Inc for the new relationships that were built that night. This was a fantastic group of women that came together to slay the stage.

Thanks to everyone to came out to support "Setting the Stage"

Until next time Ladies, I hope you enjoy this sample.
