Chalk It Up To Style with Lane Bryant

It is that time of the year and all educators are reporting back to duty. I will admit that I was more than ready to report back after this long Summer break.

Unfortunately, Tropical Storm Harvey decided to throw a monkey wrench in the state’s plans. Harvey devastatingly caused so much damage to personal, private, and even state property. Some educators are still on standby to report back after accessing the amount of damage that Harvey caused.

With everything that has happened surrounding me in the past week, I was so honored that Lane Bryant reached out to be apart of such an awesome campaign. #ChalkItUp to style is an event where educators can visit their local Lane Bryant store with a valid id or paystub to receive an additional 15% off of their purchase. As Educators, we know that we have to replace some of our old faithfuls and this is such a great opportunity to do so. In addition to Educators being fly at school, the campaign is for such a great cause. Lane Bryant partnered with adoptaclassroom.org which is a non-profit organization which provides funding for school supplies and materials needed in the classroom.

Due to impact of my city, I chose to pay homage to our armed services by creating a military inspired look. The Front Button Duster with the gold button immediately screamed trendy, yet inspiring. Can you believe that both colors are military inspired also? The duster is available in this beautiful medieval blue as well as Ivy Green. What are the odds of this….lol… Balancing the look of with a touch of femininity along with the men’s wear trend, I went with a soft blush colored button down. The Washed Casual Shirt was the perfect mix to soften up such a dark palette. To bring this look on home, the Lena Tailored Stretch Straight Leg Windowpane Pants in navy completed the entire look.

Ladies, what do you think about this look? I love that Lane Bryant has taken all the things that I love the most and wrapped it all into one box. If you are wondering what those things are: my love of fashion, my love of educating, and my respect for the armed forces. Can we all say, Thanks Lane Bryant? So all of my fellow educators, are you in? Let’s find those incredible teacher looks and Chalk It Up To Style with Lane Bryant from September 5 - 30th. Remember you will receive an additional 15% off with a valid id or paystub. Your local store awaits your support.

Until next time Ladies, I hope you enjoyed this sample.
