Paperbags Please!

Now that the temperature is pleasurable, it’s the perfect time for rooftop parties and mingling. Any chance I have to mingle, enjoy a cocktail and look cute, I’m all in. As I created a look to attend a daytime party, which celebrates other beautiful women, I realized that there is no better way to celebrate such by a future wearing pants from Crystal Coons of Sometimes Glam who is a creative director of Astra Signature.

Crystal debuted Astra Signature this June at Full Figured Fashion Week. I had the pleasure of seeing the line in person and to chat it up with Crystal at the TCFStyle Expo. These pants were the fan favorite with so many trying them on and falling in love immediately.

For the event, I wanted to keep the look simple and clean. With the Anne Paperbag Pants as the star of the look, I wanted to highlight the paper bag hem. How cute, right? I love the shape of the pants with the tie-waist belt to give the waist a little snatching.

I remembered getting the Gathered Off The Shoulder earlier in the Summer and waited for the perfect pants to pair with it. The folded ruffle hem give the top a fun feminine flare. I knew this was the perfect match.

Of course, I had to add a pop of color to a classic look. Speaking to my inner “Rainbow Bright” self, I paired the look with the Mandy earrings from Baublebar. Keeping a playful feel to the look, the coral pumps sealed the look.
