About three weeks ago, Instagram went crazy over O Magazine Editor stating that you could only rock a crop top when you have a flat stomach. The Internet went crazy over this. I was a little disturbed with this notation. I am a full plus size girl. I am a proud 24 with a stomach and I am proudly rocking my crop tops.

There was one point in time when I would never wear a crop top because I thought I was too big. I would never envisioned myself wearing my stomach out due to my size and the minor stretch marks that I bare. In the past years, other bloggers that I follow have inspired me to step outside of my comfort zone. I remember the post that Chante' from EverythingCurvyandChic when she wore the yellow cutout dress from Rebdolls. (It was a different name back then but I can not remember if it was Grisel or not.)  She looked so vibrant and confident in this dress. I was like " Hey, I could do this too. I can wear this dress and rock it with my tummy out." I ordered the same dress and I fell in love with the cutout. Now years later, I will rock a crop top and love every inch of me. Ladies, if you have a full stomach like myself please try to rock a crop top. You would love the free and liberating experience. When rocking a crop top just remember you only need 2 key elements: 1. A Crop Top and 2. The Confidence to rock it.
